I strive to provide care for the equestrian at the highest level of my ability based upon a combination of evidence-based practice and holistic care without restraints of the clinic or 3rd party payers. My goal is to make you feel better and improve your performance as quickly as possible.
Experience and Professionalism
With 10+ years of physical therapy experience, I will perform an assessment and create a custom program that's right for you. I understand the importance of educating you on the most effective ways to take care of your body, so that you can return to doing what you love. I have put in many extra hours of continuing education and maintained membership in professional groups to continue my learning opportunities.
PT who rides
Long before physical therapy school, I was an equestrian who had a deep love and respect for all animals. I have ridden horses, worked on a horse farm performing daily equine care and management, and worked as an equine vet tech. I also worked as a groom for Grand Prix jumpers on the Florida winter circuit, so I have seen firsthand the demands on the equine and equestrian athlete. I trained under one of the original USEF certified physiotherapists from their special program for equestrian athletes.
