Do you take insurance?
I do not, however, you may file with your insurance company on your own for reimbursement of services. I also am not able to see patients covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
Do I need a physician referral for physical therapy or craniosacral therapy?
No. In the state of Texas, you may see a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is residency trained for 3 weeks (business days). Beyond that, you would need a referral or if I determine you may need to see an MD I can refer you to the appropriate provider. Craniosacral therapy is separate from physical therapy and does not require a referral.
how far do you travel?
Generally, I will travel a 30-min radius before adding extra mileage charges. I also consider times/traffic since it can be an issue in this greater Houston region! For clinics, I even travel out of state. The travel costs will be considered into the clinic pricing. Don't hesitate to contact me or ask!
are you a riding instructor?
I am not. I am a forever student of this great sport. I saw a special need for the equestrian athlete to have a practitioner that understands the demands on their bodies and how these limitations could impact their performance. I am a musculoskeletal expert using my knowledge to enhance equestrian performance.
