You may have limitations in your performance or movement from an old injury, overuse of tissues or poor posture. The intake will include a look at your overall health and wellness and a movement screen to make recommendations of exercises and lifestyle changes. You will then receive a home program of exercises, stretches, and/or self-mobilization techniques. One follow-up zoom or phone session is included as well as email access for 3 weeks. For equestrians, this may include a mounted assessment.

Requires a minimum of 3 participants. Intake forms must be submitted ahead of clinic time. Clinic begins with a ground session consisting of a functional screen to identify possible limitations followed by warm-up stretches and exercises to activate your body. This is followed by a mounted session to apply movement principles learned from the ground session. This is not a riding lesson as much as looking at altered movement patterns or weaknesses that may be carrying over into your performance. Contact for pricing - dependent on distance traveled and number of participants.
Dry needling differs from acupuncture in several ways. It is an invasive treatment considered "dry" since no solution is injected through the needle. Dry needling uses a small filament to primarily treat musculoskeletal conditions by introducing stimuli to the fascia, muscle fibers/trigger points, musculotendinous junction, tendons, ligaments and even bone to trigger a healing response. Dry needling requires a comprehensive medical intake and physical therapy evaluation to determine if this treatment is appropriate for you.
Dry needling requires an in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and is most effective when used in conjunction with other manual treatments and exercises to correct the tissue stressors. Dry needling is a very effective treatment when used properly!!

Craniosacral therapy is a separate service and does not require a physical therapy assessment. It utilizes a very light touch to affect the cranial bones, sacrum and spinal column via the fascia (the body's connective tissue). Craniosacral therapy can calm the central nervous system and treat many conditions including headaches, TMJD, muscle pain and restriction, chronic pain and anxiety to name a few. My training is through the Upledger Institute founded by the pioneer of this therapy, Dr. John E. Upledger. Recipients of craniosacral therapy report it to be very calming and is best performed in a quiet, relaxed setting.
